Ssooo the Cut says sweatpants are here to stay? and that Bees who aren't wearing them are "so behind??" I here at CAG, take that as an afront. It doesn't matter. Cashmere, schmashmere, I can't hang! It's not like I'm super Emily Post about the issue. It's just that I think people should project the person they want others to see in what they wear. If I wanted to go to the gym, sure I'd wear sweats. But to dinner? to work?? to a party??? No thanks. And I'm not the only one who thinks so ->
"The comfort trap: is it just my perception or have we really become a nation of slobs?... I'm not saying that you need to be trussed and harnessed like a rack of lamb, but consider semiotics: You're sending a message about who you are" (Tim Gunn).
Thank you, Tim. Thank you.
If you are still on the fence about this issue consider for a moment the word sweatpants. Would you normally go to the gym, work yourself into a sweaty mess then go on a date? Sweat. Pants. Gross.
Love you, mean it

I knew I liked Tim Gunn. Anyone that can use semiotics in a comment about daily life gets extra points in my book.
