Qui êtes vous, Polly Maggoo?
Let me be the first (or second) to recommend the 1966 french fashion spoof called "Who Are You Polly Maggoo?" It opens to an avant-garde fashion show built into this weird artsy paper-machê house. The show is successful only after the acclamation of the fancy magazine editor (Aww, Anna!). The show boosts one particular model (can you say Maggoo?) into an instant fashion icon. Lots of other hijinks ensue. But you'll have to see it for yourself. Here are a few of my favorite images from it:
